Have you considered managing a team for the 2009 season? How about being an assistant coach? No one has tenure in any position within our organization. The team staff are no different. We are always looking for dedicated volunteers to help instruct our players in the finer points of the games of baseball and fastpitch softball. If that sounds like you, NKLL would like to hear from you. Please fill out the Little League volunteer application AND the Manager/Assistant Coach application then mail them to NKLL, PO Box 1476, Poulsbo, WA 98370. |

Umpire Training - Come One Come All |

Did you watch any games last year that didn't have an "official" umpire? Were you recruited in the parking lot to do the job? Not enough time to manage or coach a team but want to do your part to help out? Can't sit still during the games? Always have lots of free "advice" for the folks who volunteer to officiate the games? If you answered yes to any of these questions, we could really use your help. Each year we have many more games than we have available "official" umpires. That gives you a great opportunity to learn some more about the game and help out the whole program too. We urge you to consider umpiring this coming season 2009. You can contact Dave Carstensen or Frank Enfinger our Co-Umpire-In-Chiefs at

Skills Assessments are required for all players league age 9 years old and older. The only exception is for a 12 yr old returning to a Major baseball team, or softball players 12+ returning to a Major, Junior or Senior team. Players that do not attend a skills assessment will not be eligible to play at the Major level. All players who register will play on a team. The skills assessment is used to help determine the most appropriate program for the player to participate in. The skills assessments will be held on Feb 28th and March 7th. Players must attend at least one of the two assessments. |
